Suranne Jones

Sarah Anne Jones (also known as Suranne Jones) is an actor and producer from England. The actress has earned fame playing the role of Ruth Slater in the miniseries "Unforgiven," as Detective Rachel Bailey in the police procedural drama "Scott & Bailey as well as the GP Gemma Foster in the medical drama "Doctor Foster". Born in Chadderton, Greater Manchester, Jones began her journey at in the Oldham Theatre Workshop and received her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts from there. in a stage production of Wait Until Dark, she was Gloria when she was just eight years old.
