Yael is an Australian resident of New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael has received her NIDA degree. Yael enjoyed the privilege to be able to collaborate with the best storytellers in Australia. Her experience includes behind-the-scenes work in film, television as well as theatre. Yael enjoys a rich career working in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael discovered her new place of residence within New York City when the production was acclaimed at BAM. Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Yael is the co-founder of The Cannery. Based at Bushwick, Brooklyn, the business supports the development of new writing as well as imaginative, inventive ventures.
